Voting is open at 10 p.m. EST in the February 2019 Speaker election. In order to vote, eligible citizens must rank the candidate and the option to reopen nominations in order of their preference. All options must be ranked; none can be omitted. Voting abstain is not an option in election voting.
Any citizen who had been a citizen for seven days or longer at the time nominations opened is eligible to vote.
Voting will close in five days, and will automatically close precisely at 10 p.m. EST on March 6, 2019 -- not when announcement that voting has closed is made by the election administrator.
