Per Article II, Section 8 of the Constitution of the Republic of Pacifica I am tabling a motion to remove the Speaker of the Regional Congress from Office

(8) The Regional Congress may remove any government official established by law or policy from office by two-thirds vote.

Whatermelons(Qwabour Harbour) has recently been dismissed from the office of Secretary of Military Affairs. As well as removed from all government ministries for failing to uphold the required standards of behaviour for a government official. Therefore can he really be allowed to remain as speaker of this Congress. In addition to this, Melons has failed to do his duty as Speaker of the Regional Congress, out of a possible 5 votes to open. he has opened 2 of them. He has abruptly and with no reason dismissed the Deputy Minsiter for Integration, and the man who would have become UnderSecretary for Integration should the reforms pass out of the reason by abruptly dismissing him as a Deputy Speaker with no reason.

Voting shall last for 3 days. After which the resolution's voting expire shall expire.

Motion to Recall the Speaker of the Regional Congress
Voting Results

Voting has now closed.
Aye: 8
Nay: 3
Abstain: 5

The recall reaches a Majority and passes. qwabourharbour is hereby recalled as Speaker of the Regional Congress and removed from office. As according to law:

(2) In the event that an election administrator is standing for office in an election they are designated to administer or the office of the election administrator is vacant, administration of that election will pass to the most senior citizen who is not standing for that office and is available to serve as election administrator.

Due to qwabourharbour vacating their office as Speaker of the Regional Congress, @cormac will be asked to Administrate the rest of the emergency election.

Abstentions will not be counted according to law:

(2) The outcome of votes in the Regional Congress will be determined with abstentions excluded and according to the number of votes cast, not the number of overall citizens.
