My fellow citizens of Pacifica, honored diplomats, and friends,
I would like to begin by thanking everyone who voted for me in the election that has just concluded. Although this wasn't a contested election, I appreciate the confidence you've placed in me to be your President for at least the next four months. Thank you for giving me a mandate to pursue a foreign policy rooted in respect for regional sovereignty, a vigorous fight against the New Pacific Order, and steadfast opposition to fascism and OOC misconduct. You've also given your seal of approval to a robust World Assembly agenda and I hope to get started on much stronger engagement with the WA very soon. It's my pleasure to announce this evening the citizens who will be assisting me:
Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs: Toerana (BowShot)
Secretary of State for Military Affairs: Qwabourharbour (Melons)
Secretary of State for World Assembly Affairs: Kostrorleauny
In addition to these appointees to the Council of State, I will also be presenting my nominees for Chief Justice and the Guardian Council to the Regional Congress shortly. I would also like to take a minute to congratulate Prime Minister Wymondham, his newly appointed Ministers, and Speaker Melons. I believe this will be a very strong team that will provide a solid foundation for Pacifica to build upon for a long time to come.
